چکیده
The Mangrove is one of the plants that live in coastal areas, because a lot their availability, mangrove leaves can be used as animal feed. problem with this contained fairly high tannin which harmful to livestock. This study aims determine impact boiled (Rhizophora apiculata) lime water on tannins, digestibility, rumen characteristics, and vitro methane production. design was randomized block using 4 treatments 5 replications. were respective concentrations quicklime follows, P1 (without boiling), P2 (5% water), P3 (10% P4 (15% water) for 10 min. results showed boiling 5% highly significant (p<0.01) total tannins content, nutrient fluid reduced gas content. Nutrient digestibility includes among others: Dry matter (65.18%), organic (66.31%), crude protein (67.90%), increased fiber fractions including NDF (59.01%), ADF (55.75%), cellulose (64.02%), hemicellulose (69.61%) characteristics such NH3 contents (4.32 Mg/100 mL) VFA content (130.2 mm) Methane (231.39 mL/gDM). concluded at concentration min contributed most prominent (4.54%) nutrients.

Investigating the Effects of Cadmium on Rumen Microbial Fermentation and Nutrient Digestibility Using Gas Production
Effects of different levels of cadmium (0.1, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256 mg/l of culture medium) were evaluated using gas production technique. In the glass vials used to measure gas production 30 mg of buffered rumen fluid (2:1 ratio of rumen fluid: buffer) poured in glass and cultured at 38.6 temperature. Volume and pressure of produced gas were measured with syringes and digital pressur...

متن کاملThe Effects of Phenolic Compounds in Iranian Propolis Extracts on in vitro Rumen Fermentation, Methane Production and Microbial Population
The objective of this study was to determine the chemical compounds of Iranian propolis (IP) extracts and to show flavonoids and phenol effects on methane production, fermentation characteristics and rumen microbial population (in vitro). In this study two diets with different concentrate: forage ratios as (HC: high concentrate) and (MC: middle concentrate), respectively as non-supplemented or ...
